If you’re looking for real sun-protection in a cover-up though, you may want to keep searching. Billabong has chosen style over substance here, with the V-neck and sleeveless design. You’ll need to slap on some lotion, as these bare areas leave us vulnerable to sunburn.
While you’ll get most use from the Nikki on the beach, I imagine this cover-up could look just as adorable paired with flip flops as you step away from the shore. It’ll never suit a formal affair, but it’s perfectly appropriate for trips to the markets and pool parties.
I just wish Billabong offered us more choice here. This punch pink shade is pretty enough, but it might be too sugary for many modern girls. The cover-up is also only offered in medium and large, which is sure to disappoint women at either end of the size spectrum.
