Gold & Wood’s New Anniversary Sunglasses

Luxury eyewear brand Gold & Wood is celebrating its 15th anniversary with the release of special anniversary edition aviators for men and women.

We always expect opulence from the label favored by Stevie Wonder and Angelina Jolie, but Gold & Wood takes things up a few notches with these shades. Both sunglasses are coated in gold; the ladies' version features a rich 24-carat yellow gold while the men's have a cooler 18-carat white gold finish.

Luxe Acajou wooden temples accent the women's shades, while the men's temples are made from polished buffalo horn.

Gold & Wood celebrates its birthday on October 10, and the anniversary shades should hit stores around this time. There's no word yet on the prices, but any sunglasses that use real gold will never come cheaply. I wouldn't stash these inside your beach bag without a hard case if I were you!
