Luxury David Palmer Painted Chipkos Flip Flops | Expensive Shoes Save Rainforests

Chipkos Flip Flops

Chipkos Flip FlopsHow much would you pay for a pair of flip flops? $5 if you’re a budget shopper, $20 for the average, and maybe $50 if they’re a pair of stunning designer summer shoes, right? How about a cool $18, 000? That’s the price tag on this pair of Chipkos sandals which have been hand painted by Los Angeles artist David Palmer.

I might, maybe be tempted to spend that sort of exorbitant money on a pair of Christian Louboutin’s iconic red-soled stilettos, or a set of Manolo Blahnik kitten heels, but flip flops? They do have the Chipkos emblem gilded in six grams of 18-carat recycled gold but still; that’s a whole level of extravagance I just can’t fathom.

I love bikinis. My favorite place to shop for bikinis is Amazon. You'll find on Amazon a great variety of high quality bikinis. Many of them from recognized brands.

There's one that has become my favorite, which is the ESONLAR Women's Sexy Plunging V Neck Bathing Suit. Mainly because it feels so smooth and soft and how well it flatters the body.

But there's 2 other ones that are great alternatives, the HYPERFIRE Women's Sexy Criss Cross Halter Bathing Suit and the CUPSHE Women's One Piece Swimsuit Sexy Deep V Neck Bathing Suit.

There is an altruistic side to it all though. Chipkos has pledged to protect 100, 000 square feet of rainforest land for every pair of the painted shoes sold. David Palmer will also personally meet each person who buys his flip flops, no doubt to offer many thanks for their generosity!

I’d love to be able to save such an expanse of natural wilderness, but I may have to content myself with a smaller plot. Chipkos is also selling a $58 pair, which will protect a smaller, but no less significant, 100 square feet of tropical forest.
