La Blanca Wild Slide Bikini

La Blanca Wild Slide BikiniLa Blanca has had a long association with Rod Beattie. The designer began to work with the swimsuit brand in 1988, and enjoyed six successful years with the firm before joining Anne Cole. But Beattie couldn’t stay away for too long, and in 1999 he was back to take the creative director job and add his name to the label. This Wild Slide bikini is one of the head-turning creations he made during this tenure.

This Wild Slide bikini top is bold and modern. The black and white geometric pattern gives the classic halter-neck style a real lift. I like it now, although I’m a bit unsure how it will date. Black and white is generally timeless, but there’s something about the pattern that sets off my radar. Not everyone wants to follow fashion of course, but it’s worth keeping in mind that this swimsuit may not feel as fresh after a couple of seasons.

I love bikinis. My favorite place to shop for bikinis is Amazon. You'll find on Amazon a great variety of high quality bikinis. Many of them from recognized brands.

There's one that has become my favorite, which is the ESONLAR Women's Sexy Plunging V Neck Bathing Suit. Mainly because it feels so smooth and soft and how well it flatters the body.

But there's 2 other ones that are great alternatives, the HYPERFIRE Women's Sexy Criss Cross Halter Bathing Suit and the CUPSHE Women's One Piece Swimsuit Sexy Deep V Neck Bathing Suit.

This bikini top is well made though, so if you treat it right it’ll certainly survive a few summers. Treating it right may be more trouble than it’s worth though. The nylon-spandex blend material requires hand washing to ensure it keeps its shape and strong colors.

But at $67 though this bikini is quite affordable, particularly considering its designer pedigree.
