Jean Paul Gaultier has again joined forces with La Perla for a brand new swimwear and lingerie line. The designers released their first collaborative collection early this year, and with the new range slated to hit stores in the New Year it seems they were keen to repeat the experience.
The first range only featured lingerie, so it’s exciting to see swimwear added to the mix. This latest collection seamlessly blends Gaultier’s love of luxury with La Perla’s feisty Italian spirit. The swimsuits are very theatrical, with bold colors, Jean Paul Gaultier’s signature horizontal stripes, and some bondage inspired studs and corset-style strings.

There's one that has become my favorite, which is the ESONLAR Women's Sexy Plunging V Neck Bathing Suit. Mainly because it feels so smooth and soft and how well it flatters the body.
But there's 2 other ones that are great alternatives, the HYPERFIRE Women's Sexy Criss Cross Halter Bathing Suit and the CUPSHE Women's One Piece Swimsuit Sexy Deep V Neck Bathing Suit.
The lingerie is similarly risqué, with body-hugging leather dresses and balconnet brassieres all part of the range. If you’re not sure whether you can pull off the dominatrix look there are more feminine frilly, lacey undergarments to choose from.
Of course this level of luxury and designing might doesn’t come cheaply. The most inexpensive item in the line is still pricy at €150, and the top end comes in at a whopping €2000. You’ll need to spend plenty of time on the beach this summer to see value here.
