Farrah Fawcett posterThe red one-piece worn by the late Farrah Fawcett in her 1976 poster, arguably the world’s most famous swimsuit, has been donated to the Smithsonian.

Photographer Bruce McBroom captured the iconic image of a smiling, swimsuit-wearing Farrah positing against a striped blanket. A whopping 12 million posters were sold, and it’s likely that even more girls around the world copied her famous beach blonde locks.

I love bikinis. My favorite place to shop for bikinis is Amazon. You'll find on Amazon a great variety of high quality bikinis. Many of them from recognized brands.

There's one that has become my favorite, which is the ESONLAR Women's Sexy Plunging V Neck Bathing Suit. Mainly because it feels so smooth and soft and how well it flatters the body.

But there's 2 other ones that are great alternatives, the HYPERFIRE Women's Sexy Criss Cross Halter Bathing Suit and the CUPSHE Women's One Piece Swimsuit Sexy Deep V Neck Bathing Suit.

Farrah Fawcett’s nephew, Greg Walls, her longtime love Ryan O’Neal, and his daughter Tatum, were there for the donation. Along with the swimsuit, the family donated an original copy of the poster and other pieces of memorabilia including Farrah’s Charlie’s Angels script book and a swimsuit jigsaw puzzle.

The Farrah Fawcett artifacts will become part of the American museum’s Division of Culture and the Arts. You can see them on display this summer.
