Keep your peepers protected on the beach for less this summer with these Cryokinesis Sunglasses from Cheap Monday.
The Cryokinesis have a fun cat eye style which takes us back to the swinging sixties. The frames aren’t pronounced as many shades with this retro style, which makes them a bit more wearable, but they still won’t work for everybody. I imagine they’d look amazing with a pin-up girl style one-piece, but they might seem out of place with a modern swim ensemble.

I also wish Cheap Monday had offered a few more color options. Brown tortoiseshell is easy to work into any wardrobe, complementary for any skin tone, and also perfect for a retro styled pair of shades. But girls always love a few choices! Can’t you just imagine how cute these sunglasses would look in a pearly baby pink?
There is an element of getting what you pay for here. A label called Cheap Monday will never create beachwear which excels. It doesn’t offer any UPF ratings for its lenses, so while they’re tinted I wonder how many harmful rays they’ll keep out. The arms are also pretty thin and made from the kind of plastic that will snap if you sit on them.
However they also cost just $24, which is less than many shades on the market. If you handle them with care, you should definitely get your money’s worth.
