Ujena Jamaican Crochet Bikini

Ujena Jamaican Crochet BikiniUjena takes us back to the 70s with this retro styled Jamaican Crochet Bikini.

Crocheted bikinis are nothing new for Ujena. We saw the swimsuit label embracing the art with the San Paolo. But the chunky open weave and the clashing red trim of the Jamaican makes it feel more like a vintage swimsuit. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad will definitely depend on your tastes!

I love bikinis. My favorite place to shop for bikinis is Amazon. You'll find on Amazon a great variety of high quality bikinis. Many of them from recognized brands.

There's one that has become my favorite, which is the ESONLAR Women's Sexy Plunging V Neck Bathing Suit. Mainly because it feels so smooth and soft and how well it flatters the body.

But there's 2 other ones that are great alternatives, the HYPERFIRE Women's Sexy Criss Cross Halter Bathing Suit and the CUPSHE Women's One Piece Swimsuit Sexy Deep V Neck Bathing Suit.

While I’m not sure I’m sold on the style, I can’t fault this swimsuit’s quality. It’s hand crocheted rather than machine manufactured, so you know it’s going to last. The top and bottom are also fully lined for your comfort.

The Jamaican has a very sexy skimpy cut, and the weave will offer a tantalizing taste of what you’re hiding underneath. But I’m not sure such a traditional crocheted bikini can ever really sizzle. This model is absolutely gorgeous, but she looks like she’s stuck in a fashion time warp. There’s a place for retro style, but is this taking the look too far?

While I’m sure the Jamaican will tempt many beach goers, I’m just not sure about this swimsuit. It feels more like something your nanna might make than a piece of sophisticated swimwear. Has it won you over?
