Sofia by Vix walks on the wild side with this appropriately named Sassy Ruffle Bikini.
Few patterns scream sass like animal print. The leopard print might be a lazy way to make a swimsuit feel flirty, but it’s also effective. The delicate ruffles around the edge of the classic triangle top soften the style.
I only wish Vix’s Sofia line had stopped there though. While the teal string pops against the earthy animal print, I think it overcomplicates the design. The golden studs also seem like an unnecessary embellishment. It’s a matter of personal preference, but I think this swimsuit would have been much stronger with a cleaner look.
Sofia by Vix has done the right things when it comes to fit though. The Sassy is cleverly designed to ensure it will work for any body type. By using ties rather than clasps at the back and neck, Sofia by Vix ensures the Sassy is fully adjustable. It also offers soft removable padding in the cups, so you can enjoy a bit of a boost or rely on your natural assets.
The blend of nylon and spandex material does require a bit of upkeep though. Unless you hand wash the fabric, the spandex component will lose its elasticity quickly. Handle it with care and you’ll enjoy several summers from this sassy swimsuit.
