With a design as obnoxious as their name, these shorts are loud and proud! They are adorned with a colorful psychedelic print that’s so bright, you’ve got to wear shades around them.

Before you back away from this rainbow of design, it’s worth pausing for a moment. These are just the kind of board shorts that could make a classic black one-piece or bikini top look fabulous. They could also pick up other matte colors too, so perhaps they’re not as outlandish as they first appear.
Roxy knows many of us will hesitate to embrace such a lurid pattern, so it’s made these Shove It shorts reversible. When turned inside out, the rainbow is gone, replaced with a weathered denim-looking gray. It’s a dramatic departure, which makes it all the more appealing. Suddenly we get a pair of board shorts that could work well with a brightly colored and patterned swimsuit.
The Shove It shorts looks are striking, but they don’t tell the whole story. Roxy takes care of us on the practical front too. These shorts are made from a soft polyester suede material which is comfortable to wear and quick to dry once you hit the sand. They are a slim fit pair of shorts though, which while flattering hinders movement. You won’t mind if you’re wading through the waves, but if you’ve got surfing or swimming in mind you may want something a bit looser.
At $52 these board shorts were already cheap, but with their two-for-one appeal they represent real value.
