Ostrich Beach Chaise

If you really want to laze about this summer forget your average chair; the Ostrich beach chaise is made with beach bums in mind.

This beach chaise goes further than your average beach chair with five different positions, including one that's completely horizontal. For an all-over tan, don't just lie about on your back. Turn over and utilize the padded face cavity and arm slots! These features make sure you can keep on reading a trashy novel while relaxing on your stomach.

The manufacturers claim that the chaise is made from heavy duty polyester and anodized steel to take up to 250 pounds of weight, but I'm not so sure. A few customers weighing less than that say they've ripped the seats, so if you're on the heavy side you may want to err on the side of caution.

You may also have problems if you're taller than the average. If you measure more than 5'8" your legs will drape over the edge, which becomes uncomfortable in time due to the metal frame. A few extra inches would have easily solved the problem.

This chair isn't perfect, but at around $60 we wouldn't expect it to be. It's worth noting its limitations; if you think you can work around them than this chaise may be the key to a relaxing summer.
