Moschino Super Bow Sandals

Moschino has teamed up with Kartell to create a cute collection of sandals called Super Bow.

The colorful shoes make a big impression with their towering platform soles, peep-toe styling, and playful bow accents which mirror Moschino's famous motif. An adjustable ankle strap makes them as comfortable as plastic shoes can be, while the inspirational slogan "He who loves me follow me" printed on the insole should give the wearer a little pick me up. They're available in six bold colors: white and black for the traditionalists and green, red, pink, and blue for more adventurous types.

The sandals' platform soles help them appear quite dressy, but as they're made of plastic they should withstand harsh coastal conditions. Eco-warriors should note that Kartel's patented material is a much greener alternative than traditional plastics. The shoes are made of a recyclable, non-toxic thermoplastic polymer which is much kinder on the planet than its competitors.

Moschino often charges a premium for any item bearing its name, so I was pleasantly surprised to see these Super Bow sandals cost just $173. That's still a pretty penny for shoes made of plastic, but not unreasonable for footwear from a limited edition collection.

The Super Bow shoes are available now from Moschino stores, including its website.
