Eco by Summer Rayne Oakes Sunglasses

Model and entrepreneur Summer Rayne Oakes has teamed up with MODO Eyewear for a green sunglasses collection. Called Eco by Summer Rayne Oakes, every pair of shades in the line is made from at least 95% recycled materials.

I love bikinis. My favorite place to shop for bikinis is Amazon. You'll find on Amazon a great variety of high quality bikinis. Many of them from recognized brands.

There's one that has become my favorite, which is the ESONLAR Women's Sexy Plunging V Neck Bathing Suit. Mainly because it feels so smooth and soft and how well it flatters the body.

But there's 2 other ones that are great alternatives, the HYPERFIRE Women's Sexy Criss Cross Halter Bathing Suit and the CUPSHE Women's One Piece Swimsuit Sexy Deep V Neck Bathing Suit.

The sunglasses are crafted from recycled plastic and hypoallergenic stainless steel. The cases are also green, as they’re made from recycled PET bottles. And even the packaging is environmentally friendly, as it’s crafted from recycled paper and decorated with soy-based inks! The range’s green credentials are assured by UL Environment, who’s awarded the line an Environmental Claims Validation. This is the first consumer collection to receive the honor.

The sunglasses don’t just have sustainable design on their side. The retro inspired frames in solid, ombre, and tortoiseshell colors should also appeal to style-conscious sun lovers.

Design partner MODO is also a member of 1% for the Planet, a network of businesses around the planet that gives at least 1% of their profits to environmental charities. It also pledges to plant a tree for every pair of sunglasses sold. And if you ever tire of them, MODO will help you recycle them. The company has a special take-back program that fills your frames with prescription lenses for vision impaired people in need.

There are so many green products on the market, but these Eco by Summer Rayne Oakes sunglasses do more for the planet and its people than most. They’re available for $175 from the MODO website.
