Miu Miu is releasing a series of short films to sell its new sunglasses lines.
The first, called The Woman Dress, made its debut at a private screening in New York last night. Italian screen siren Maya Sansa stars in the eerie Giada Colagrande piece. Hollywood A-listers Mia Wakowski, Willem Dafoe, Channing Tatum, Leighton Meester, and Joe Jonas were all there to see the Miu Miu flick, and indulge the hors d’oeuvres. Fashion houses sure know how to throw parties!

That concept sounds very romantic, but The Woman Dress is actually pretty morbid. Not in the Twilight in love with a vampire kind of way either. The Woman Dress is a very literal title, with the film showing models using a woman as the material in some creepy couture creation.
It’s a strange setting to see Miu Miu’s playful new sunglasses line launched. The Miu Miu Cultes shades are very quirky and cute with their oversized, handmade pentagon-shaped frames. They’re available to pre-order now for $390 from the Miu Miu website.
