Juicy Couture is the latest label to add eco-friendly products to its fashion collections. The flamboyant American label has just launched Choose Green, a range of three sustainable sunglasses.
Each pair of Choose Green sunglasses is made from 55% renewable plant-based plastics accented with bamboo. That means the frames aren’t entirely eco-friendly, but they’re a lot greener than most on the market. For the most ardent of green fashionistas using only a little more than half eco-friendly materials still won’t be enough, but I appreciate it when the big corporations take any steps in the right direction.

Juicy Couture hasn’t forgotten about style though. The shades are designed to flatter the faces of its wearers. There’s the oval Jasmine shade, the rounded square Fern, and the cat’s eye Peony. They’re also available in a range of fashionable colors, including classic tortoiseshell and girly raspberry.
The Jasmine is the cheapest of the bunch at $98. The Peony and the Fern frames both cost $135. You’ll find them at Juicy Couture stores, selected retailers, and Juicy Couture’s website.
