70’s Flower Style Pink & Purple Sporty Swimsuit

This bikini caught my eye right away. I was looking for something a little more sporty and the print, fun colors and shorty short-style bottom of the Gossip Girl Swimwear Sporty Spice bikini intrigued me.

Now, for something called sporty, I wouldn't want to be playing volleyball or any kind of rough water sports in this somewhat flimsy-looking triangle top. Sure there's a somewhat thick bottom band and a tie halter neck that you can ostensible tighten up to keep the girls in place but I still wouldn't feel secure.

The bottom on the other hand would be great for an active day. The bottom provides adequate butt coverage but is still super short, flirty and sexy. A sweat-pant-type drawstring band compliments the waistline.

As for the style, I love the '70s roller-girl silhouette and floral Gidget-y Hawaiian flowers (I'm mixing decade references, I know - but they're all there!). The blue, orange and pink combo keeps things fun and girly but still athletic.

Now, which Gossip Girl do you think would wear this?
