Ella Moss proves a black bikini doesn’t have to be basic with this gorgeous Sahara swim top.
I’ve chosen to show you this particular image of the Sahara, because it’s one of those swimsuits which really should be admired up close. It’s not that it doesn’t look lovely from a distance, but you lose all that intricate crochet work. This sixties inspired finish is perfect for the current retro trend, however as it’s quite subtle it shouldn’t date once the fashion has passed. Wooden beads up the hippie chic factor, providing a nice counterpoint to the standard triangle cut.

The Sahara should feel heavenly to wear thanks to its blend of micro nylon and spandex. The micro nylon is ultra soft, while the spandex gives the fabric the flexibility you need in the water. The material is quick to dry once you leave the waves too, so you needn’t sit about in wet swimwear.
The sizes are skewed towards the small end of the spectrum, which is likely to disappoint larger girls. The style would certainly flatter any shape, so it’s disappointing the range is so restrictive. However at least the removable cups show Ella Moss is considering the needs of its target audience. I’m sure they’ll enjoy the Sahara’s relatively affordable $63 price tag.
