Bulgari has created a pair of shades fit for a queen with its limited edition Parentisi Diamond & Gold Sunglasses. The name says it all really; these are one pair of luxurious sunglasses, with 18k gold accents and a whopping 206 pave diamonds. That equates to a staggering 2.5 carats in total.
Beyond the glitz, these are a beautifully designed pair of sunglasses with wide, Audrey Hepburn-esque frames and a subtlety we might not expect considering all of that opulence.
When I say these sunglasses are limited editions I mean it. Just ten exist in the world, so if you want a pair you'll have to be very lucky, and very rich. They cost £20,000 a piece, which is equivalent to around $31, 000 US.
That price does buy a hard case, cleaning cloth and certificate of authenticity, as well it should! The Parentisi Diamond & Gold Sunglasses also come packaged in an embossed gift box, just in case anyone is generous enough to give them away!
