Now that look can travel to the sea and sands as well with this Victoria's Secret Cover-up Romper.

This look quite sporty and simplifies the worries about having the right outfit for the beach. This romper comes in either black or white and the material is a spandex cotton.

The only qualms I have with rompers is that not all women have the same top to bottom proportions.

This romper could evade that problem because of the adjustable elastic drawstrings at both the top and waist. This lets you choose where it will fall along your waist-line and bust-line.

As far as being a swim-suit cover-up, most white cotton materials become transparent when they're wet and a romper doesn't have a lot of space to move around in and dry off like a flow-y dress might.

This is also the cheapest romper I've come across at $24. This item would be much more of fashion statement than anything else.

I should also point-out, you do get these cute little side pockets with your romper. They might be able to hold your beach tags or small cell-phone, but this being Victoria's Secret, those shorts are supposed to be tight on the bottom.

This Victoria's Secret bikini is so sweet. It's just so sweet and girly. From the color to the ruffles it looks like the type of swimsuit you'd wear to a tea party if swimsuits were what you wore to them.

The triangle-top bikini ties at the neck and back allowing for you to adjust the fit and fall of the bikini. Also, the top has fully lined cups with the option of removing the additional padding.

The bottom is also adjustable since it's a string bikini. Though it should be clear that the bottoms are considered moderate coverage and only come in the low-rise fit. I wouldn't attempt any serious beach sports or boogie-boarding in this more 'delicate' swimsuit.

The color of the swimsuit: peach, tends to only look good on tanner skin tones. Peach will wash a pale girl right out. Pair this swimsuit with gold jewelry and a white cover-up or beach purse and you will be the essential of beach glamour.

At $36, this is an intriguing swimsuit find since it's got Victoria's Secret's signature flirty style, minus their signature hot pink.

When you want to make a statement with your beach towel you've got to go with something simplistic, but eye-catching. Tommy Hilfiger's Maui Pineapple beach towel is a great example. It's so minimalist, that it's funny.

But yes, a giant pineapple makes total sense to drag to the beach. This towel actually reminds me of Warhol's Pop-art.

The towel is oversized, which means that it'll fully fit you, your book, and your can of soda. Well, at least you can trust that this 100% cotton beach companion will get you dry and you can wrap yourself up in it several times.

The manufacturer also states that the dye is resistant to multiple washes, but this probably translates to the fact that a vibrant towel like this won't stay so colorful after too many washes.

I just can't get over how funny this towel is. So if you have a sense of humor and want to buy a towel that is currently discounted at $13.60, then go with your fruitier sensibilities...

For the price of $325, at least this bag can claim that it doesn't look out of place when you take it off the beach. The website suggests it's a worthy airplane bag as well. What makes this bag so versatile is the metallic gold leather, which can go on the beach or on city streets.

It's dimensions (12" H x 20" W x 6" D) promise that you can pack a fool beach day's snacks, a towel, sunscreen, and magazines into it's two zip-close compartments and two interior pockets.

While the Tory Burch website only lists gold as a color option, there seem to be other color variations available as well: silver, black metallic, navy, green.

This look is perfect if you want to bring your urban edge to the beach, but you have to be comfortable with the fact that you're bringing your real-leather bag to the rough outdoors of the beach.

The image of biking along sandy dunes in the sunset is so appealing, that's why this nostalgia-inducing bike caught my attention.

It's built especially for a woman's frame at 26 inches and has those neat cruiser-style handlebars that are reminiscent of the bike's kids rode around in the 50s.

It's particularly comfortable because of the width of the seat and the fact that it's cushioned. The frame has also been made so that you sit more upright than you would  a regular mountain or road bike.

The pedals are even crafted so that you can use this bike barefoot, which fits well if you'll be riding along soft sand.

It also features a chain cover so that you don't have to worry about your pants or the ribbons from your espadrilles getting caught in the bike chain.

If only this bike came in more colors, like a bubblegum pink. It does have the iconic white front and rear fenders and white -wall tires.

The bike functions with hand-operated brakes and 7-speed twist gears on the handlebars. Though this lady couldn't ever go too fast. That wouldn't be the point of beach-cruising!

Eco-friendly fashions usually call to mind itchy fabrics that come in some variation of the color biege. But this hello-sunshine-yellow Kelly B. Tizzi Cut-Out Swimsuit is anything but.

The fabric is made from bamboo and an organic cotton/spandex blend so the swimsuit is just as fitting as any other would be.

The neck-strap is removable as well if you would prefer a bandeau look. The sides of the suit are also cut-out, alternating gaps with strips of fabric. The cut-out swimsuit is more innovative way to show some skin in a one-piece.

In terms of other social benefits of this product, it is made in USA under fair trade regulations. But that doesn't mean it's price has gone through the roof; this swimsuit is currently retailing at $70.

It has also been featured on EcoCitizen, a website catering to socially-conscious consumers who don't want to compromise on style.

The swimsuit does not come in any other color and from what I've seen on the beach, the styling of the top of this swimsuit does not typically have a lot of support for those above an A/B cup. But again, this environmental swimsuit proves that tree-huggers are not relegated to the unfashionable any longer.

Apparently the days of carrying your boom-box to the beach are over. iHome, the master of iPod transport,  has come up with the iH85, or iHome2Go Cycler Bike-to-Beach Speaker. It's shaped like a water bottle so it can fit on to the carrier that most bike frames come with.

The water-proof container is pressure sealed and impact resistant so you can slip your iPod safely inside, ride along, and hop to the beach without worrying about sand messing with the hardware. The separate wireless controller fits nicely on a provided attachment for bike handlebars.

Transportable iPod speakers don't seem to be able to produce a lot of sound, which may be a concern for this product since it has only one speaker driver. You have to find the balance between blow-out, annoy-your-beach- neighbors and I-can't-hear-it-over-the-waves volume.

This gadget does require AA batteries, which can add up to the cost of using this thing if you don't have a battery recharger. A power adapter recharges only your iPod if you're listening indoors. The design of this product is certainly well thought out. Though iHome recommends you don't use your iTouch or iPhone, which could make this product out of date for some.

Though this bathing beauty is most reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe in solid black. Also, the crosshatch patterns seem to age this swimsuit a bit more than a solid color. No one wants to have a swimsuit that looks like they borrowed it from Grandma.

The halter straps that tie behind the neck and boy-cut bottom are said to be flattering on any body type because of their powers to shape, lift and conceal. Halter top swimsuits are also great when you want the extra support up top. This swimsuit does highlight a woman's hour-glass figure, which was so highly desirable back in the day.

Currently, this nylon-spandex blend swimsuit is discounted at $34.50, saving you a solid ten bucks. Vintage looks are always edgy and in vogue. I picture Marion Cotillard wearing this on the French Riviera. All you need is the red lips and nail polish to go with your seductive look.
